New playground markings were a surprise waiting for us when we got back to school after the summer holidays in 2005. We have a maze, a clock face, hopscotch and a number caterpillar.
In P1 we are beginning to learn to read and write. We can all count and some of us know some quite big numbers! Our first topic was Ourselves and we looked at what we all have in common as well as how we are different from each other.
In P2/3 our first topic this term was Food from around the World. We learnt why some of our food is produced locally but other items come from distant places. We will be working hard on our usual language and maths work. There is new maths software on our class computer: Numbershark has lots of games to give us practice in doing maths quickly in our heads.
